Departure after breakfast to El Templete, a building with a strong historic past located at Plaza de Armas Square in Old Havana; point where San Cristobal de La Habana Village was founded back in 1519. You are in the right place to dive into the history of the beautiful city, starting with a visit to Santa Isabel Hotel, a building from 1867 that keeps the footprints of ship-owners, artists, merchants, scientists, chroniclers and illustrious travelers. Then a ride through Oficios street until we arrive to San Francisco Square inaugurated in 1628 and third founded one.
The adventure continues discovering some other landmarks such as Raquel Hotel, which keeps the knowledge about Hebrews millenary culture; make time to enjoy a cocktail.
Visit to Conde de Villanueva Hotel to enjoy a tobacco & rum marriage with a specialist explaining the process. Walk along Mercaderes and then Obispo Street; Obispo is one of the must busy streets of Old Havana and the best: cobbled, narrow and car free.
Walking tour through Plaza de Armas Square visiting Real Force Castle, a fortress of huge historic interest and home of La Giraldilla statue that lies over watching the city from the top of its tower. Enjoy a panoramic tour in vintage American cars through Old and Modern Havana ending at “Nostalgicar” reparation workshop, a place where you´ll be part of Cuban inventive for maintaining cars from the 50s and 60s. Transfer in air-conditioned bus back to accommodation.
